Meeting the King
I JUST MET B.B. KING! It was the most amazing thing in my life. After Chels n me parked we crossed the street and an old black man was standing in an alley by the back door, and I went up there and it didnt look like him so we went and sat on a bench and I ended up going back there myself and I said to him he looked like BB King and he asked me "you know why you thought that?"...it turns out it was Willie King, one of his sons. So we got talking and I mentioned I got Crosssroads tickets and that I play guitar n he told me to wait where I was staning and he went inside and came out with this woman. So I start talking to this woman, it turns out to be BBs produecer and then he turns to me and asks if I'd like to met the King. Then he tells this woman to "make sure this kid meets my dad" and his phone rings and he reaches into his pockets and pulls out some stuff for me. So he played his show which was amazing, he played like I Need You So Bad, When Love Comes To Town and then he talked between, during and after his songs, he spent more time talking than playing but it was ok, his stories we're really intresting and pretty funny. His last 3 songs we're incredable, he did Downhearted, Key To The Highway and ended off with The Thrill Is Gone. So after a quick hussel n bussel, we find the producer in the alley behind the theater and theres tons of people around and scream here name at the tops of my lungs and she turns and reconises me and brings me and Chelsie around the side of the bus and there was a line of like 50 people and cause his son invited me, she brought me to the front of the line and right onto the bus, and as we walked on some of his band was sitting there relaxing, then at the very back room of the bus, there he was, B.B. King. We sat down for like 15 minutes in this tiny room at the back of his bus with a tv bigger than the one I have in my basement over his head. It was so crowded in there, we were practacly sitting on one another. He talked for a bit and I brought up Crossroads and if we planned on jamming with Clapton and Guy again and he said "thats up to Eric" I thought that it was stange feeling talking to somebody whos on a first name basis with Clapton. Then he started to sign autographs and the guy before Chelsie got him to sign his stub and another stub and BB said it was 1 per person and the guy said it was for his mom who couldnt make it there and he said he got alot of those so he made an exception. So Chels had my ticket stub with hers so she handed it to him and he signed them then he came to me and I asked him to sign a poster and he told me "well, I got a rule, its 1 per person. But now, if your beautiful lady friend sitting right next to you were to ask me, I might just have to say yes to her." and Chelsie asks him and says "its for my mom too" and the biggest smile came over BBs face when she said that. That was prolly the best moment ever was seeing Chelsie making BB smile, like I cant describe it...Then somebody asked if they could have a picture, and he looks at them and says "it all depends...do you have a camera? Cause if not it might be a challange" lol. So after they got theirs taken I asked him if we can have ours, and he openly agreed and Chelsie and me now have a picture of us with the King...THE KING!. BB KING! Thats unreal. After our picture our turn was up and I shook his hand once more and just beofre I turned around, I told him I would never forget this night even if I live to be 100. And he looked up me and smiled. Wow... BB's the sweetest man in the world. Current Music: B.B. King - Let The Good Times Roll | | Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 | | 11:39 pm |

Back Home
I've been on the road too long Moving in the wrong direction I don't know where I belong I don't know what I will do, if I can't get back home Troubles I've got on my own They don't fit no other person Memories keep rollin' on I don't know what I will do, if I can't get back home I don't fit, but I don't give a damn I won't quit, cause I know who I am And I admit and I've been on the edge Bit by bit, I'll review my plan This is it, do the best I can Trust and understand 'Cause I know I'm loved I'll be on my way Got no need to stay... 'round here 'Cause I been on this road too long Going in the wrong direction And I don't know where I come from All I know is I will die, if I don't get back home Current Music: Eric Clapton - Back Home | | Sunday, December 3rd, 2006 | | 2:58 am |

When I look into your eyes I can see a love restrained But darlin' when I hold you Don't you know I feel the same 'Cause nothin' lasts forever And we both know hearts can change And it's hard to hold a candle In the cold November rain We've been through this auch a long long time Just tryin' to kill the pain But lovers always come and lovers always go An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today Walking away If we could take the time to lay it on the line I could rest my head Just knowin' that you were mine All mine So if you want to love me then darlin' don't refrain Or I'll just end up walkin' In the cold November rain Do you need some time...on your own Do you need some time...all alone Everybody needs some time... on their own Don't you know you need some time...all alone I know it's hard to keep an open heart When even friends seem out to harm you But if you could heal a broken heart Wouldn't time be out to charm you Sometimes I need some time...on my own Sometimes I need some time...all alone Everybody needs some time... on their own Don't you know you need some time...all alone And when your fears subside And shadows still remain I know that you can love me When there's no one left to blame So never mind the darkness We still can find a way 'Cause nothin' lasts forever Even cold November rain Don't ya think that you need somebody Don't ya think that you need someone Everybody needs somebody You're not the only one You're not the only one Current Music: GNR - November Rain | | Tuesday, November 14th, 2006 | | 1:37 am |
